Practical experiences of many years and the knowledge from numerous of succesfully solved special customer projects make us understand the special challenge "Hard-Turning".

This knowledge and experience guided us the way to develop cutting grades which offer high-performance and durability - the new SIMTEK-CBN-Grades CBN1/CBN7/CBN8.

These CBN-Grades are currently available for a wide range of product groups such as  simturn® AX, simturn® DX, simturn® E3. The simturn® AX (Alpha-Line) includes CBN-inserts for boring applications as of diameter 1,7 mm.
